Bennelongia co-sponsored the 12th International Symposium on Aquatic Oligochaeta at Fremantle, WA (Sep 10-13 2012). Jane McRae and Mike Scanlon attended the conference and associated taxonomic workshop. Congratulations to DEC scientist Adrian Pinder and colleagues for a very well organized conference.

Stuart Halse presented a keynote talk at the 21st International Conference on Subterranean Biology (2-7 Sep 2012) at Košice, Slovakia. He presented “Why trap troglofauna: nets provide superior catches”. The conference website was removed in 2016.
